Below you’ll find answers to some of the questions we get asked almost every day.
Q: Who does the work on my project?
A: One or more of our 7,000 member contractors will work on your finishing project. With members in all 50 states and 10 Canadian provinces, there’s a trusted FSN contractor for you. And there’s no cost for you to use our “match making” services.
Q: How many people do I have to interact with?
A: Just a few. First, you’ll meet with a FSN professional (in person or by phone) to define your needs and create a shortlist of pre-qualified contractors. Then, we’ll hand you the list and let you decide the best contractor for your job. It’s that simple.
Q: How many projects can you handle at once?
A: With more than 7,000 member contractors and 110,000 crafts people in our network, we can handle the biggest projects with the tightest deadlines, including yours. So it’s easy to save time and ramp up faster.
Q: What separates FSN contractors from the rest?
A: In a word, trust. We’ve done the background screening for you — our members are trained, licensed, bonded, insured, and experienced in the paint, wall covering and glass trades. Plus, they are required to complete ongoing safety training and education in their profession. Bottom line: You won’t find this combination of professionalism and productivity available anywhere else — all at no cost to you.
Q: How do you keep up to date on your contractors?
A: After being screened and pre-qualified, all of our contractors are required to complete ongoing safety training and education. And, to protect consumers, we can suspend or disqualify any contractor who fails to meet our qualifications at any time. Our dedication to total compliance means you can hire with total confidence.
Q: Do you have contractors that do Union and Non Union jobs?
A: Yes, we have contractors that are able to perform both union and non union jobs.
Q: How do you get paid for referring me to contractors?
A: Our efforts are funded entirely by our members — there’s no cost for you to use our services. FSN contractors are required to increase their skills, safety, and productivity. That way, you get top-quality work at a fair price, while they get repeat business and referrals. Everybody wins.
